Opinión de Báscula RENPHO Wi-Fi

Buen diseño, ultima tecnologia, bastante completa con todas y cada una de las funcionalidades que acostumbran dar las basculas digitales hoy en día. Bastante buena la aplicación para movil que se asocia a la bascula. En mi coyuntura, le he quitado una estrella sola porque nunca he conseguida conectarla con wifi, me marcha tan solo con bluetooth, pero afortunadamente aquello no afecta la aplicación de la líquida.

No le coloco 5 estrellas pues no consigo misma conectarlo al wifi, ni en 5g ni en normal. Por lo otras personas esta espectacular y magnífico las mediciones se suben a la masa por medio del móvil inteligente, ya que el bluetooth si que enlaza perfectamente.

Tardó unos dias en entrar y la Aplicación es algo más complicada que otra que tengo. Los documentos no son tan concretos

Es súper exquisito la báscula, puedes incorporar a más personas, como familia y amigos, mirar su peso, puedes observar el IMC, la proporción de grasienta y otras cosas.

Durch die extrem vielen positiven Bewertungen der Renpho Waagen habe ich den Versuch mit dieser Waage gewagt, proporciona ich immer gerne eine smarte Waage haben wollte.
Auf den ersten Blick macht die Waage auch einen sehr guten Eindruck. Gut verarbeitet, minimalistisches Design und platzsparend. Batterien eingelegt, und 5 Minuten spätres war die Waage per Bluetooth und WLAN mit dem iPhone gekoppelt. Wow. .. , ich war beeindruckt!
Die Messwertübertragung an die App klappt wirklich hervorragend! Dabei arbeitet die Waage autonom, man braucht proporcionas Handy nicht in die Hand zu nehmen. Sobald man Zeit und Lust hat, startet man bei nächster Gelegenheit die app und schon werden die letzten Ergebnisse geladen. Ebenso sind die Ergebnisse in Apple Health verfügbar (die Datenübertragung an Samsung Health hat nicht funktioniert). Absolut perfekt! So hatte ich mir proporcionas mit einer Smart-Waage vorgestellt.
Aber nun kommen wir zu der eigentlichen Hauptaufgabe einer Körperfett-Waage - wiegen und messen.
Da für mich die Körperfettwerte am wichtigsten sind, habe ich die Renpho Messergebnisse mit Handmessungen nach der Jackson/Pollock und Navy Methode sowie einer Omron BF quinientos once Waage verglichen.
Die Ergebnisse waren KATASTROPHAL! Die Körperfettwerte der Renpho Waage liegen konstant cuarenta dos 50 % über den Vergleichswerten. Im Vergleich dazu ist die Omron Waage ein Hochpräzisionsgerät, denn ihre Abweichung liegt im ein-prozentigen Bereich.
Ebenso waren alle anderen auf der BIA Messung basierende Werte völlig unbrauchbar. Sogar die einfache Gewichtsmessung hatte deutlich Messabweichungen noch oben.
Fazit: Was nützt die beste app und Datenübertragung, wenn die Waage keine Waage sondern ein Schätzeisen ist?
NICHTS. Proporcionas ist dann nur ein weiteres nutzloses Chinagadget.
Den einen Stern vergebe ich daher für die gute Konnektivität. Die Waage selbst ist Murks und somit absolut nicht empfehlenswert.

I have only just got these scales but I decided to write a review now to let other potential purchasers know about a quirk concerning setting up wifi. After I broke our scales (no fat jokes please) I did a fair bit of research and decided to get some smart scales to replace them, choosing Renpho based on reviews. I also took heed of some comments that bluetooth-only scales have a drawback that the readings are only recorded if the móvil is connected at the time (and so within BT range), whereas with wifi the scale reports to the cloud (I assume). So I chose a wifi version.
Anyway, the scales look good and setting up the app and account was easy. When I started using the scales the app offered me the option of wifi instead of BT, so I chose that. But connection repeatedly failed, so I reverted to using BT instead. Setup finished fine and my account showed my initial mass and the other data calculated from the conductivity of the skin on my feet (yes I am a bit cynical about how good that data will be). Of course I was rather ****ed that wifi doesn't work. But there was a hint because the app kept telling me to switch my phone to 2.4GHz. The wireless access point I was using (very close to the scales) is dual band so I didn't really understand what it was referring to - and I am unware of how to force my phone to connect over the 2.4GHz band instead of the 5GHz band.
My solution was that fortunately I have a tablet which is only 2.4GHz capable. I installed the aplicación and logged in - and my data came up (proving that it is stored in the cloud). I then went to the scales and tried to configure the wifi to the same WAP (no changes). It connected first time! So when Renpho state that the scales only support 2.4GHz wifi, they also mean that the smartdevice used as the interface MUST be connected via the 2.4GHz band as well! From what I can see there is no way to manually pack de up the wi-fi connection on the scales. I have reported this to Renpho so maybe they will correct me. However until then my advice is regalo't buy this unless you have a móvil which is NOT capable of 5GHz, or else it can be forced to 2.4GHz (and you know how to do that).
Update: We tried to pack up my wife's iPhone app today. In spite of the fact that the scales already had a 2.4GHz connection to the WAP, it insisted that we use the iPhone to connect and of course it was using 5GHz and so connection failed. It also refused to connect via BT alone, insisting that wifi mus be enabled. So I got out my 2.4GHz-only tableta again and had it pack up within minutes. Once pack up it works fine with my wife's iPhone.
The scales seem to measure about 0.5kg more than the Salter scales it replaced, and about 0.5kg less than the other cheaper scales we have. My guess is that the Renpho scales are accurate. We are still dubious about how accurate the other data is calculated from our feet, although it is all believable. Both our BMIs are just into the overweight region and similarly the 2 body fat readings show a bit too high which we can believe - same for the slightly low skeletal muscle. However we mostly only care about weight and now that we can see the trend of our weights on our phones the objective of buying these scales has been achieved. For now I'll keep it at 4 stars and hope that my warning about the wifi will help potential purchasers.
